Verbal is a series of events structured from multiple short performance by different artists. Each event has a binding theme. Verbal is conceived by media artist Yael Kanarek.

The third media-performance event in the Verbal series is taking place at The Kitchen kicking-off the Digital H@ppy Hour presented by Thundergulch.

This network performance cabaret is featuring G.H. Hovagimyan, Tina LaPorta, Diane Ludin & Ricardo Dominguez, Jennifer & Kevin McCoy, MTAA, Robbin Murphy, Mark Napier, and Cary Peppermint.

In 8 short performances, the artists will demonstrate the concept of Call & Response over a network (network=phone/Internet/human). The theme of the evening spins off a thread on Rhizome between Tim Whidden, Mark River and Robbin Murphy dated 4.26.1999.
